Hello, I'm Thesh!

Welcome to my little project where I choose to keep records and memories of my travel around the world. I’m from a small island called Sri Lanka, a beautiful paradise famous for Ceylon tea and spices. I’d always want to have memories of my past trips and also to share my experiences and challenges I face during my solo travel. Chasing beautiful destinations sometimes tough with limited budgets and unexpected surprises.

As a girl from a small island I couldn't travel much, especially away from home. I started travelling when I moved to Nottingham UK for my postgraduate studies. Currently I am an interior designer working and living in Tokyo, Japan. As a part time solo traveler I was looking for architecturally interesting sites, cultural places, food markets to taste local goods. I like hiking to chase sunsets, underwater diving to see the beautiful world beneath us on the sea and to meet beautiful people kind enough to say hello.

I have a lot of passion when it comes to travel. I like to see beautiful sites that can please my eyes and mind. Exploring different parts of the world and regions, learning a few languages are kind of hobbies. I hope this blog encourages someone to be strong enough to go solo travel.
